In 1954, Hideo Yoshimura (Pop Yoshimura) founded Yoshimura Motors in Fukuoka, Kyushu. From the beginning, the company participated in both two-wheel and four-wheel racing while also developing and selling aftermarket custom parts.Yoshimura’s tuning skills earned him the nickname “God Hand.In the early 1970s, Yoshimura successfully developed the 4-1 exhaust system for motorcycles, pioneering the “collector exhaust” that became widely popular in the motorcycle industry. Today, Yoshimura competes fully in the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) as Yoshimura SERT Motul, including events such as the Suzuka 8 Hours. The AMF (Advanced Metal Forming) manufacturing process maintains design flexibility while the rim section is shaped by a specialized wheel spinning machine to achieve high strength and the necessary minimum thickness. This reduces unsprung weight and improves handling performance.

While ensuring rigidity, significant weight reduction is achieved by side-cutting areas that do not affect the spokes’ sides or strength.
